Submit a complaint or notice
Use the official Melon Sandbox complaint form for copyright, illegal content, trademark, privacy, and other legal reports.
Go to /reportReporting illegal content
Any person or entity may report allegedly illegal content through /report. Notices should include the exact URL or Content ID, explanation, contact email, and good-faith confirmation.
Diligent human review
Melon Sandbox reviews notices in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary, and objective manner. Automated tools may assist triage, but final legal action is subject to human review unless emergency law requires immediate action.
Statement of Reasons
When content is removed, disabled, demoted, or otherwise restricted, Melon Sandbox provides a Statement of Reasons where required. It identifies the action taken, facts relied on, legal or contractual basis, whether automated means materially assisted, and available redress.
Appeals and out-of-court dispute settlement
Affected recipients may use the internal complaint process. Where the Digital Services Act applies, recipients may also seek certified out-of-court dispute settlement and contact the Cyprus Digital Services Coordinator / OCECPR.
Trusted flaggers and misuse
Trusted flagger notices are prioritized where legally required. Repeated manifestly unfounded notices or abusive complaints may be suspended under DSA Article 23.
