File a Counter-Notice
If your content was removed because of a DMCA takedown notice and you believe the removal was mistaken or the content was misidentified, you may file a counter-notice to request restoration.
Important legal information
- Your counter-notice must include a physical or electronic signature.
- You must identify the content that was removed and the date of removal.
- You must state, under penalty of perjury, that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court.
- Submitting a false counter-notice is a federal offense (18 U.S.C. § 1001).
